I'll say it. Nobody else will say it, but some are thinking it.
Hurts is good, but not great. He doesn't have the ability to throw the ball down the middle of the field. It was awful. I was embarrassed. The majority of his passes were less than 10 yards. What did they do all summer?
Don't blame the rush!!! This isn't a one game surprise - the last 4 games of the year he had problems.

Hurts is good at eluding the pass rush and against defenses that are not elite he can run all over them. I will give him that. I would hate being a wide receiver on this team though. They will all probably be elite blockers by midseason.

Did I miss a bunch of missed throws to the middle of the field? I don't remember seeing any attempted other than the deep touchdown pass.
