There is some LSU smoke in the Leo Lewis investigation. Now, no one believes the $650,000 part, but what if it was actually $65,000 instead? If Leo Lewis tells the COI of the specific details of an LSU offer, then it's probably on. Look for an investigation.

Lewis never said anything about LSU

y'all are reaching for straws now. When are you going to stop listening to your mods and realize that all of this, as far as the NCAA is concerned, begins and ends with Ole Miss. Just step back and think about this logically. What benefit would Lewis have testifying honestly if they're going to open an investigation on his school if he does? It makes the immunity the gave him and any immunity going forward worthless.

And btw, there is no transcript available to outside parties. So stop giving any articles referencing one any credibility. If they do have access to the transcript then Ole Miss broke another NCAA rule by leaking it.

"Lewis never said anything about LSU"

Look again. The COI was presented with material naming LSU. If they ask Leo Lewis about it and he verifies a violation, it could cause them to look further. Of course, I don't think Leo Lewis will attend the COI and it'll all be thrown out. LSU will have no concerns and State will get off. The self-imposed penalties will be applied to Ole Miss and everyone will move on. Most all of basis for the LOIC will be thrown out and replaced with "failure to monitor."
