Auburn fans are trying to project this really positive "all in' attitude this year because they know if Malzhan fails to produce a legitimate contender this year he's out, and then they're going to have to find another coach that is worth a shite and it's hard to do these days in the SEC, so they're all trying to create some positive mojo.

It's going to be a huge fail.

It could totally be a huge fail. We've all seen it happen with every one of our teams. But here's where you're missing the mark. You are acting like Auburn fans are on some solo campaign to convince the world that our 2017 should win the natty. Neither is true. Auburn fans in general aren't predicting any better than the average prognosticator. We've been thru this shite countless times and know that it could be revealed early on that we all were wrong...and that they were all wrong. But that's about the best way most of us know how to spend the off-season...talking about how it's likely to play out based on what we know. On paper, it looks like an 11-1 to 9-3 season for Auburn. A little wiggle in reality vs expectations and Auburn is 7-5. A wiggle the other way and Auburn is competing for the playoff. I like where we are and it will be fun (or horrific) to see how it plays out. We'll see what happens. But f*** off with your fantasyland version of Auburn fans trying to conspire a campaign of misinformation on the world of college football.

The Auburn fanbase is the source of the hype.
