My favorite BBQ place in Atlanta (Fox Bros) was started by two guys from Texas. I like Daddy Dz as well.

This is my favorite as well. They took the texas based sauce and blended with the vinegar of the southeast and made it amazing.

I've also been to Scotts BBQ in Hemmingway, SC as well as almost all the others in South Carolina.

There is one thing on this board people need to understand about South Carolina: They have more pride for a state that has so little to be prideful for. The mustard based bbq sauce is only in the Columbia region for a reason, it isn't very popular.

However, Scott's, Sheely's and others in the state know how to slow cook some pork.
