No, we ran to the best conference and teams that aren't afraid to compete at the highest level after Missouri was turned down by the Big 10

You have to feel a little awkward, as a Texass fan, hitting up a thread like this at 22:30 at night on a Sunday to trash Missouri on an SEC message board.

Remember, Mizzou' s best years are not as good as Texas' worst years according to your out of reality former old coot AD Deloss Dodds.

You all imploded two conferences. How's that working out for you these days? I'm sure you are loving the road trips to nowhere Texas, Iowa, kansas, West Virginia and hot vacation destination Oklahoma....

Mizzou has ranked higher than Texas in 3 of its 5 years since the move in a much harder conference while having the pleasure of visiting the beautiful campuses of our SEC brethren.

I would not trade Aimes, Lawrence, Lubbock, Stillwater, Norman, Austin, Manhattan fricking kansas for

Columbia SC, Athens Georgia, Lexington KY, Gainsville, FL, Knoxville and Nashville TN for anything in the world at this point.

Outside the move up in conference zip code and obvious financial gains we have found non backstabbing friends here. A family.

If you think for a second Mizzou has struggled to f8nd it's place and wants for the old Big 12 you are sadly and sorely mistaken

No, we turned down a Jr membership from the big 10 and the Huskers took it. They didn't get full membership money for several years. Mizzou got full membership in the SEC on Day ONE. However even IF it were true we got rejected by the big 10...it was a blessing in disguise once we learned the SEC was a possibility.
