Kevin Steele is still your defensive c.o. and Auburn was the #18 ranked defense in the nation last year,
Also, #18 in the country is pretty damned good. And definitely good enough to mesh with a really good offense.

I'm not saying it's guaranteed to happen but it wouldn't be a surprise if Kevin Steele does worse this upcoming year given his last few years at DC (LSU and Clemson).
