I expect the fight in the team to be similar to what we saw in '15 minus the 2nd half collapses. Scott will hopefully be a major play-calling improvement over DeBord and Defense can only improve from last year.

That's exactly what I expect as well. The depth is there that the '15 2nd half issues shouldn't reappear barring another really bad string of injuries. Win or lose, I will be extremely disappointed if the team doesn't regain the fight it had in '15 and '14.

IDK. I like Scott a lot and think he has potential to better but DeBo was more maligned than he should've been - that offense set records even with the flaws. I just wish it hadn't taken him so long to figure out what to do with a DT and a running back like Kamara (had he called '15 the way he did '16 that season might've had two more wins and an SECE Div trophy to show for it). Dobbs not being there changes the dynamic for everything and makes the rushing game harder but the OL should finally be decent. I'm hoping that frees up Scott's playcalling. I believe he had a lot to do with how the Nebraska game was called in particular and that was pretty well called game. I wish we had an established TE #2 because Scott loves working two TE sets. Jakob can block with the best of them but unless he's gotten better over the offseason (possible given how new he is to the position) he's not a pass catching TE.
