Oregon over Washington is moot. Washington defeated Miami, thus capturing Miami's quality wins further helping UW's case. Only reason why Miami had a shot at a split title had FSU won is based on Miami's H2H over FSU, and Miami losing to Washington early compared to UW losing later to Oregon.

Miami defeated #1 FSU and #2 VT capturing their quality wins as well combined helping Miami's case next to finishing the regular season ranked #2, so what's your point? I'm aware they lost to UW and finishing undefeated could've bolstered their case to play OU but that's how the BCS determined the matchup.
