Pay myself a 200K salary, but own 95.5% of the company, and profits were 7 figures last year.
The degree is just your ticket to the dance. School name will get you a better start and helps with credibility, but it will ALWAYS come down to what you do once you are in the game.
I know guys who had 4.0's in my MBA program that I would not hire to balance my checkbook. They can follow a recipe, but they can't think.
You want somebody to pay you a lot to turn a crank (metaphorically speaking)? It ain't happening. Look for opportunities and jump at them.
