"About 60 juniors from Uplift Hampton Preparatory, most of them black and Latino, were touring the A&M campus on Feb. 9 when a group of white students began taunting them.
About 15 college students were sitting at picnic tables near Walton Hall when one noticed that an Uplift teen had on a University of Texas backpack, according to the university's investigative report released Wednesday. The A&M students yelled things like "go back where you came from."
Then the teens and Uplift staff heard a female A&M student say a racist slur multiple times, according to the report."
