I don't think people realize how close Auburn was in every loss they had. Auburn was a pick 6 away for playing for the West title. Sean White has been at auburn as a starter for 2 years and hasn't made it to an iron bowl yet. Play calling and personnel was a major issue too! it literally took 5 games to get KP some touches, imagine him playing vs Clemson where he got 0 snaps or TAMU where he got limited snaps as well.

JS doesn't have to do much, he has the entire backfield from the #6 rushing attack in the country and a Oline with the 2nd most starts in the nation. On paper this might be the best Auburn team ive seen and yet if Gus can get his shite together Auburn can run the table to the playoff.

That's all well and good but you've got to get past Alabama and Georgia, which are much better teams than Auburn, top to bottom.

You might could run the table in the ACC this year.

You're half right.

Seriously, AU and UGa are pretty much on par with each other, just like they have been the past two seasons. UGa won both games because the only serviceable QB on our roster was too badly injured to be effective. Your 'much better' offense in those games averaged 293 yards and 9.5 points (only one offensive TD in the last 8 quarters vs AU).

If you've got some objective evidence to back up your 'much better, top to bottom' claim for this season I'd love to see it.

ETA: Just added it up - in the last 239 plays from scrimmage in the DSOR, the two offenses have managed exactly ONE TD combined.
