2000 passing yards in 12 games would be PATHETIC with this OL and WR corp. PATHETIC. UF threw 18 TDs last year with the walking dead at QB.

Honestly, I saw a spark with Del Rio but I think a few terrible games ruined his chances at going the correct route, along with a terrible arm.

If Zaire started, I wouldn't be too upset, having two Redshirt Freshmen as our best options going into a year isn't great, and I'd prefer that they performed more as a backup anyway.

The QB position is scary, but with the OL, WRs and even our RBs, we should be a whole hell of a lot more productive this year.

Oh, and a full 12 game regular schedule without losing a cupcake.

That was also with a 5th year senior and a 3rd year coaches son at quarterback.

Considering we haven't gotten 2000 passing yards from a quarterback since like 2010 I think that is a step in a positive direction. If Franks gets that, it will be significantly improved play from the quarterback position compared to any year in the last 7 seasons. Our offenses have been pathetic, and those numbers would be a step in the right direction for us, IMO. 18 TDs from Franks alone means that defenses will have someone to fear, which will give Scarlett and Perine more touchdowns. Also, 18 touchdowns can become 20 or 21 if Franks throws 4 or 5 touchdowns (like he should) against the Northern Colorado's, UAB's, and Missouri's of the schedule.

Those kind of stats from Franks win us the East again and give us a shot against the Alabamas and FSUs of the world.
