Let me know when those recruiting rankings translate to elite college players and NFL draft picks.

I just did you clown

quote:

Just in the 2017 NFL Draft UT sent 3 from Middle TN within the first 4 rounds. Derek Barnett, Josh Malone, and Jalen Reeves Maybin. Jalen Hurd would have went went as well if he had been getting better advice from his counsel and not transfering out. Jalen Ramsey just got taken before them and is playing in the league. And those are just the guys from the Nashville metro within the last few years. Tennessee will have several more players from the mid state get taken in the Draft over the next few years to add to the list.

247/Rivals etc want to sell subscriptions so they rate players from Middle Tennessee highly. That doesn't mean a lot to some folks.

Wrong again. The rise of in state talent in Tennessee has largely been because of two things. NPA & Buck Fitzgerald & the Nashville area exploding.

You sound so uneducated on all of this it's borderline cringe worthy. It's easy to see that you don't live in Tennessee or you're just extremely out of touch with what's happening.

Tennessee's demographics will never allow it to compete with any of the states from the Deep South with comparable populations when it comes to elite talent.

Wrong again. Outside of Louisiana, Tennessee already is. Tennessee has passed Mississippi and South Carolina and is starting to catch up to Alabama and Louisiana. Tennessee already has a significantly deeper and more talented in state class than Alabama for the 2019 class (13 4* to 7 4*). Tennessee also has a talented and deeper class than Louisiana for 2019 (13 4* to 8 4* & 1 5*) Like I said, Tennessee is trending up in a big way.

How many times are you going to post some BS on here my dude?

Are bragging about 3 picks in the 1st 128 picks as proof Tennessee football is on the rise?

You touting this as some banner year for Tennessee is why Tennessee will never rival those other states.

In 2015 14 players from AL were drafted including the # 1 overall in Jameis Winston. That's a banner year.

Alabama 2008 highschool class had 3 players drafted in the top 10. Marcel Dareus #3 Julio Jones# 6, Mark Barron#7. Upshaw also went #35. That's a Banner crop of highschool talent.

These things are cyclical and if the last couple of years have been up years for Tennessee then you are delusional if you believe it compares to any of the Deep South states.
