Nick Esasky
Crap, I somehow got his story and Damaso Garcia's mixed up - it was Esasky who was thought to have Lyme disease and forced to retire after playing in only 9 games as a Brave...Garcia blew out his knee in his first spring training in '87, whereas Esasky's troubles were in '90.

After awhile the misery of being a Braves fan kinda started to run together.

I thought Esasky had Vertigo? Or is vertigo one of the symptoms of Lyme? I don't really care enough to look it up further tho

Let's just tell random Braves stories now

I still remember the NLCS pep rally at Warren T. Jackson Elementary in 1991. We all had tomahawks, Homer came, they let us out of school early. It was lit. Kindergarten SOG was stoked. Then my dad came and got me early for Game 3 and we sat in left field. I still vividly remember (one of like 10 vivid memories of that season) Barry Bonds with his arms crossed looking up into stands pre-game while everyone did the chop.
