Here's another fun fact. Daniel Boone spent as many years living in Missouri than he did in Kentucky.
He's still buried here and not in Kentucky.
When Kentuckians showed up in the 1840s to take his remains back to Kentucky, the local Missourians were not happy about that, telling them the wrong location, a slave cemetery.
Forensics were done on the body in Kentucky in 1983, stating it's the body of a large black man.
Since then, the state of Kentucky has declined DNA testing.
