I'd hate to label one of the guys the worst but if I did it would probably have to be Dondriel Pinkins or Corey Jenkins under Holtz.

Jenkins was playing the wrong position. Dude was a fantastic athlete.

I agree and I almost included the caveat that both Pinkens and Jenkins were incredible athletes. Dondriel had won the punt, pass and kick competition in Georgia the first year the Florida-Georgia all-star game was played in the dome.

But the real problem with Dondriel was, 1) Skip Holtz was his QB coach and 2) Dondriel was not the sharpest pencil in the box. Really good kid, just not a QB mind. When he graduated he came out to the house and I gave him a puppy. He was just a sweet kid, as good hearted as they come and very competitive, big heart. But he made some really crazy decisions on the field at times.

Corey Jenkins ended up playing safety and linebacker in the NFL. He is now on our coaching staff, one of the position guys in the weight room.
