Beatbammer was arguing that universities shouldn't have disciplinary hearings on this topic, not that the process may be flawed

The conversation was in the context of Title IX, but he isn't wrong that Universities typically aren't equipped to properly deal with these matters. The text messages are likely enough in the Landon Rice case, but there are lots of false claims or regret assault allegations that have or potentially could ruin a kid's life and universities have proven to be poor at fairly dealing with them.

It's really a tough issue for higher education.
