They absolutely should. However, sexual assaults shouldn't fall within the purview of Title IX (an anti discrimination act) and universities should engage in due process in administering disciplinary decisions.

As it relates to Rice, I think there was sufficient evidence to kick him out of school. I hope the process afforded to him was fair. This article casts some doubt on whether it was or not.

Beatbammer was arguing that universities shouldn't have disciplinary hearings on this topic, not that the process may be flawed
