I think that Butch held him back a ton. It is possible that Big Ben and those steeler coaches could whip him into a decent NFL starter.

Not having a QB coach hurt some but not more than never being allowed to redshirt due to injuries and his class load. First semester of his senior year was a murder load in his major and that's football season. Fall semesters stacked hard against Dobbs' ability to be 100 percent locked in.

Dobbs would also get to hand it off to Leveon, and throw it to AB, Martavis, Rogers, and Green.
Not to mention the Steelers beastly OL.
