Yeah I don't think Cleveland did a great job of managing their 3 picks (outside of taking Myles #1).
Where are they going to use Peppers? It's great that he played all over the field in college, but that ain't going to fly in the NFL, I doubt they use him as a return man like Michigan sometimes did, they will have way faster and more agile players just for that. While being a jack of all trades hybrid in college, seems like that would hurt him in the NFL because he didn't specialize at one position.
And agreed on them taking a TE, I wouldn't take one in the first round unless it was a surefire homerun, much less the 2nd or 3rd best one after others had been taken!
I thought Chicago got trade-raped switching up to #2 for that QB. Didn't he only play one season in the ACC at NC? Yikes if so. I thought this was a really weak qb class so I was very surprised to see three of them go in the top 12. I realize it's the most important position on the field but damn, get some help for the qb (o-line or receivers for him to throw to) and try for one in FA or trade or something. Don't think any of those three qbs are anywhere near ready to contribute to their teams in year 1.
