I just don't see how you can not pick Garrett, Allen, and Foster. If you can stack an elite unit in one round you have to do it.
Jabril Peppers is athletic and obviously has some talent, but I think his peak usage was as a college jack of all trades, and TE are a dime a dozen. I wouldn't draft a TE in the first round ever, short of a generational talent (and those usually aren't evident in the draft at TE).
Cleveland gon' cleve. I think it was smart to wait on a QB though, there was no one this year head and shoulders above the rest so they can grab one in the later rounds if necessary and target a top end guy next year.
I saw Mcshay had Trubisky as his highest graded QB at an 89. Goff was a 96.

Yeah I don't think Cleveland did a great job of managing their 3 picks (outside of taking Myles #1).
Where are they going to use Peppers? It's great that he played all over the field in college, but that ain't going to fly in the NFL, I doubt they use him as a return man like Michigan sometimes did, they will have way faster and more agile players just for that. While being a jack of all trades hybrid in college, seems like that would hurt him in the NFL because he didn't specialize at one position.
And agreed on them taking a TE, I wouldn't take one in the first round unless it was a surefire homerun, much less the 2nd or 3rd best one after others had been taken!
I thought Chicago got trade-raped switching up to #2 for that QB. Didn't he only play one season in the ACC at NC? Yikes if so. I thought this was a really weak qb class so I was very surprised to see three of them go in the top 12. I realize it's the most important position on the field but damn, get some help for the qb (o-line or receivers for him to throw to) and try for one in FA or trade or something. Don't think any of those three qbs are anywhere near ready to contribute to their teams in year 1.

Kessler showed a lot of promise last year when he played for them. Waiting a year lets them give him the keys for a year and see what he can do and also time it with a much stronger QB class. Cleveland has done a great job of stockpiling picks and building through the draft the right way. The "Cleveland is dumb and their front office has no idea what they're doing" meme is pretty played out to me. I think their current front office is doing a good job considering the shite sandwich they were left with
Allen has some big health questions and I don't think Watson is worth the #12 pick for them right now when they have the picks trade to the top next year
