However, it's hard to fire a coach that goes 9-4 with a skeleton and beats all his main rivals. That's just how ADs think. Now if he does it again, I suspect the AD and boosters will raise hell.
What about all that talk last year about it being Atlanta or bust?

That was before the injuries. Had you told us that Cam, JRM, DKjr, Hall and others would be out for the season (or 90 percent of it) no one would've mentioned Atlanta. Even if we'd known that the OL would become a game of musical chairs I think a lot of folks would've adjusted expectations.
Even so we should've made Atlanta which is why so many have a righteous anger towards Butch.
