OK, so I really liked The Force Awakens, but I am a servant of accuracy, regardless of what side anyone's trying to argue here.
of course, using the term "Jedi" very loosely. Both play the same role, though, so whether or not they were "Jedi"
officially or not really doesn't make a difference.
quote:Ben Solo,
I'm drawing a blank on this one. Who's the Jedi in The Force Awakens you're referring to?

quote:We've got no evidence that Luke was "just waiting." Actually all signs point to Luke having exactly pulled a Yoda, secluding himself with no intention of ever being found and never teaching the ways of the Force again.
The difference being Yoda had given up while Luke was just waiting.
quote:The "rascal" is probably Poe Dameron, but nobody really fits the Han Solo role to a T in TFA. Finn has been heavily, heavily foreshadowed to be a Force user, too.
This one you're right. It's the same thing but a totally different flavor. The Jedi's a female, the rascal is a goofy black guy, and the robot is nothing like the other two. It's not a copy but a story arc for the descendants. The bar just reminds you of that.
quote:Here's the first thing I can agree with you 100% on!
This next one could be the best in the lot.

Thanks for covering all my points perfectly. On the Jedi thing, IIRC Vader wasn't a Jedi either. They washed him out of the program.
