This statement should be taken seriously. This guy knows his stuff. He correctly predicted that Bama wouldn't be within 2 TDs of LSU on 1/9/12. When he says something "for the record", you can bank on it.

I don't understand why people want to question O. The guy was one of the most sought after HC candidates in all of CFB the past few years. He could've practically named his choice of the open jobs in recent years; Florida, Miami, psu, Syracuse, USC, Texas, uga. He simply wanted LSU and all the haters need to just deal with it
