I think, if he's healthy, Del Rio can win 8 or 9 games he's good enough to beat teams where we have a pronounced talent advantage. The problem is that he either needs to be significantly more accurate or have a significantly stronger arm to move the ball against teams that can just man up our receiving corps.

Del rio is more likely to be consistent but he doesn't have the upside that we need to make the playoffs. If we had Bama's talent I wouldn't mind Del Rio as the starting QB but we don't so we need a QB who can make big plays.
