The columns have to be formed and poured, then they have to cure. The weight of the concrete on itself strengthens it many times over as it compresses and contracts. Putting excess weight on it prematurely weakens the integrity of the columns.

I can't find it now, but there's a hilarious video of one ATL dipshit after another driving blindly into the zero visibility black smoke without any idea what is on the other side. Like sheep following each other into a slaughterhouse.
