I really don't pay much attention to Florida until the season (though I was really surprised on signing day at how well they finished, in stars at least).

But how did Muschamp fail down there? He had done everything about as well I could imagine anyone doing here at South Carolina.

Great recruiter, put together the kind of staff he needed to.

I know it's trendy, I know he has all kinds of animated jpeg's floating around with him blowing his top.

But it doesn't make sense. The results weren't there, but it is pretty hard not to do well at Florida. Heck the Zooker did alright, even though it was obvious they weren't going to win it all with him.

So what's the story? To my surprise he has done almost everything correctly here, to my eyes at least.

Dunno, but I'm not unhappy with him at all. Particularly the staff he put together. Top notch recruiters, and we absolutely needed that.

Doesn't make sense. What happened down at Florida. Based on what I've seen, there is no way he is a drooling idiot like you guys make out.

Might be on prozac though. I keep looking for a throbbing vein in his forehead and haven't seen it yet though.

I don't think he's a terrible coach. I think he just needed some experience as the head coach before taking a job at a place like UF. He'll do fine a USC as long as he lets the offense be coached by the O.C.
