Ok, for starters I think going armed to a football game is a bad idea but when you make a statement like this little things like facts and history are not on your side.
See how many examples you can find of civilians legally using a gun in self defense where they hit an unintended target. It is going to take you a long time to find the very few times where it has happened.
Surprisingly, legally armed civilians are very reluctant to fire. You are far more likely to be hit by LE gunfire.
