or the buyout numbers combined with Les' buyout numbers prevented you from correcting the mistake and your program is set back even further.

Anger and butthurt over what? I, like most other non-lsu fans, have no issue with LSU hiring Coach O. I don't think he takes you to heights greater than Miles or Saban, so there is no "fear" there. I just think it's funny that you guys would put that contract in place for him.
(note: Bama did a similarly stupid contract for Shula after his 10 win season in 2005. We put in place a $4M buyout when NO ONE else was going to come after him and then promptly fired him the very next season. So year one buyouts can matter if, for whatever reason, you have a disastrous year and hear word that you could land someone clearly better.)
