re: Question about Freeze and those coaches that wear their faith so openly

My issue with religion, is that how is one supposed to know which one to chose? I hear all the time that "If I'm wrong, nothing happens and I just die, but if you're wrong you go to hell. What do you have to lose?" Well, what if your religion isn't the right one? What if another religion is correct? It also blows my mind (and others on here as well after reading this thread) that some people give glory to God for saving their relative or friend all the while millions of people in 3rd world countries die of many things that they have no control over. Any God who would chose to cure one person and let millions of others die who have done nothing wrong is not someone I want to worship. Just because man "sinned" before a bunch of babies and kids got into this world doesn't mean they deserve to be allowed by God to just die. What about kids born retarded and with terrible birth defects? Those people didn't do anything, yet have to live a miserable life through no fault of their own.
