Because that had nothing to do with it.

Every time Williams was brought up on the recruiting front the reason was nothing to do with the way he played, it was who he hung out with and "issues" he had. Stuff like that was hard for Williams to keep under wraps going to school on LSU's campus.

Some are implying he only failed "a few" (meaning they think maybe 3 or so) tests. Sure, maybe if he was only ever tested 3 times or had someone else pee for him. Point is it's an issue for him, not just a fun activity. Hence the Randy Gregory comparisons getting thrown around.

Yeah, because Saban wouldn't suspend him for the weed, that's kind of the point the OP was trying to make. He ended up with what, a half game suspension against Kentucky for the gun charge his entire junior and senior seasons? Then since his time was over all this stuff comes out about how he has a serious drug problem.

It's not like this guy is some kind of saint
