Our parting gift from Battle. Guy's a good businessman and fund raiser. As an AD he sucked donkey balls. Goff was his final mistake. Time to pull the plug. There's no excuse for this historic crash and burn. Or his demeanor and disrespect toward alumni players. He was going to get a pass on his shitty record until he started acting like an arse and someone who thinks he's Casey Stengall. Time to see why we hired Byrne. Turn him loose on the trail for a baseball coach. frick Goff. We gave him the keys to a decent program and he promptly turned it into a raging greasy dumpster fire.

I was willing to give him a pass on the year, until I read about how he treated the alumni. That's just bad leadership and arrogance

This is one of the most troubling things I have heard about him...if what I heard was true. I have no reason to believe otherwise. Alienating former players could bring the axe quicker and/or give admin another reason to make a change.
I am still OK with him returning because change in leadership can cause many issues. Issues that are corrected by bringing in his type players over time.
