I agree, but more the fact that there's so many more basketball games than football and thus each game doesn't matter as much in the regular season.

I agree that most games in the reg season don't mean much, but to the few teams on either side of the bubble the games DO mean a lot.
And to watch your team just piss it away, and you knew it was coming is miserable.
