He never embarrassed Auburn while he was employed here. He didn't bash his time here or his former employer. His tenure here was more positive than not.
Most on here had Gustav in the dead man walking category prior to last year, so it's not like him jumping ship was a bitch move, even to go to a division rival. I mean, yeah, that kinda sucks since he's an alum, but it wasn't as much of a slap in the face as, say, James Willis spurning a chance to stay in '09 and going to work for Saban.
