Hurt him? No.

Would learning organizational structure, recruiting contacts, strength and conditioning programs, etc. from Saban help him get a head coaching job more than being an OC at South Florida? Absolutely.

Fair point. But if Mac and Smart dont turn it around, there will be a hiatus on the Saban tree.

I think Smart will, I am uncertain about Mac
