In IMG Academy's season-opener at Chandler (Ariz.), Alabama 2019 four-star running back commit Trey Sanders busted loose for an 89-yard touchdown run to seal the game for the Ascenders. Sanders finished the game with 143 yards on seven touches.

In the Florida prep powerhouse's second game at Corona (Calif.) Centennial, Sanders had touchdowns runs of 65 and 75 yards, as the Ascenders defeated the No. 9-ranked Huskies 40-20 to move go 2-0.

After a gap between games due to Hurricane Irma, IMG took the field against No. 5-ranked Miami (Fla.) Central on Friday night, and Sanders once again pulled the Ascenders ahead with a late 65-yard touchdown run, ultimately leading to a 24-15 victory.

If you're keeping count, that's four touchdown runs of 65 yards or longer in the Tide commit's 2017 season.

At 5-foot-11.5, 216 pounds, Sanders is rated the No. 3 running back and the No. 28 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

The Port St. Joe, Fla. native is Alabama's longest-standing commitment, having given the Tide his verbal pledge in April of 2016. Sanders visited Tuscaloosa for the Fresno State game, and stayed on campus through the following Monday. Earlier this week, the elite back picked up an offer from Oklahoma. He plans to continue taking visits, but has maintained he's firmly committed to the Crimson Tide.
