There's a garbage time clip or two of DJ out there, his ball has so much zip with little effort. He moves well for his size too.

The problem is he is in California. We haven't had much success with QBs from there.

Barnes.

Barnett.

Sky is the limit for Tyson, he is definitely proving people right so far.

Tyson has a natural throwing motion and is extremely accurate.

If Taulia would have flopped moving to the state, I could have seen them stepping back. Yet it was seemingly seamless, makes it hard to ignore his talent because of his size.

Lil Tua is small but he appears to have a cannon.

I'm all for taking both Tyson and Taulia from a talent standpoint, especially if we don't take a QB this year.

I would hate, in a year with limited numbers, to give a scholarship to a QB that's an eventual transfer. However, all we have on campus is a true Sophomore (who runs as much as he passes) and two true freshmen. I don't know if we can afford to not take a QB this year unless we're convinced that all three of our current QBs are competent AND happy (low transfer risk).

If either freshman decides to transfer, we'd be left with two scholarship QBs next year (at least one of whick takes a lot of hits (even against bad teams)). Hurts probably doesn't leave early (hopefully) but that would mean 19 would be one (likely unproven) veteran QB and 2 true freshman.
