The bottom line is the SEC has produced the best brand of football since the BCS and the CFP have been instituted. The tv deals and advertising money will follow the best football being played and the most viewers. The longhorn network concept was created (and destroyed the BIG 12) when UT was nationally relevant. Alabama is the most nationally relevant program year after year and SEC football is still the best football being played on the field.until that changes, all schools in the SEC will benefit.

No, not really actually. How much conferences get paid isn't directly relatable to how good their football is.

I mean, does the ACC and PAC have worse football than the Big 12? Because each Big 12 team gets paid more.

Does the B1G have better football than the SEC? Because it is quite likely each B1G team got paid more in 2015.

Football quality is somewhat important, but timing and the population your conference covers is just as important.
