win some games with these kids in the stands and everything changes. That is more dependent on what Hill, Haley and Brian Odom do with their position groups than anything the HC is doing. Ford and Cross aren't going to quit recruiting him, either.

Navy, I really do not understanding what you are saying past that winning will help. Regarding the rest I am totally confused.

The HC is where it all starts and where the buck stops. BOs ego is why we have the current assts and who by his position is required to LEAD. Because he chose to avoid strong leaders who may have conflicted with his "ego" their shortcomings are his shortcomings, no excuses. This applies not only to on field performance but recruiting as well.

Which coaches on the staff aren't strong leaders/coaches?

Is it the one that has coached 13 All conference players including 3 First team AAs and two FR AAs and 5 NFL draft picks?

Or is it the one that has coached in 3 National Championship games and developed a Heisman Trophy winner?

Possibly the coach that put 10 of his room's players in the NFL draft in 7 years?

Yeah, I bet those guys need a real heavy hand so they are maximizing the potential of the players in their room.
