Just because we didn't get brown doesn't mean we can't have a top20 or even 10 class if we're lucky. We need to win 7 games or more. We might even be able to change brown's mind like we did with gabbert a few years back. Nubs are no longer a blueblood.

I would put money on it that we end up where we always do. 12th to 14th in the SEC. In the 30's if it's a good class, 40's if it's mediocre and worse if the class is, well, worse.

I do think we have a better chance of flipping Brown than having a top 20 class. Any guesses if he gets a 4th star and moves up the rankings with more offers coming in? His offers started late but his recruiting has just taken off.

Brown will get a 4th star. I think the 5 DL are more important than the other 5.

May I suggest a radical treatment for the PBs of the world who see a possible scenario where we could very easily get a top 20 and maybe even a top 10 class;

He committed to a recruiting site darling, so no it would not surprise if he was awarded a 4th star.

Would be a big jump though.

And no, we aren't getting a top 20 class. We simply do not have the infrastructure to recruit one. Even if we landed every in state offer it's still probably only borderline that it would be top 20. It will likely end up in the 30s somewhere.
