Mikecb has gotten very confident on The Bunker on Fields. He's betting we get him.

Take it FWIW, there is an article on Kearis Jackson in the local paper today which covers his high school. Lot a talk about Fields in the article. Kearis basically says he and Fields have gotten tight but is quoted as saying "I'd love for us to be a package deal, but looks like we each got to what's best for us" (paraphrasing). I'm going full posibarner and reading that as Kearis = UGA and Fields to the good guys.

LINK I can't link the actual article since I've used up all my free online views. Ellitor or anyone - can you help out?

The aspect of a package deal is not definite, yet something that both could see in their future. It is the same for Jackson and Houston County guard Trey Hill.

“(Fields and Jackson) prefer to play together, but it’ll be all based on what’s best for us,” Jackson said. “I wish it was (a package deal), but right now it’s looking like just what’s going to be best.”

That is what has seemed most likely to me since UGA got KJ to stay home.

They think we are leading for JF, and have to do what they can to save face. Jackson is a great slot type guy, but we have that position covered.

I hope I am reading this right, but you never know.
