for the second year in a row LSU brings in a better group of recruits on the defensive side of the ball though.

I refuse to believe you are this dumb. I do really like your class though. I think that Shelvin could be the best defensive player coming in if he loses about 30 pounds. He can move right now but he isn't an every down guy. Daron Payne did it maybe Tyler can. Of course I would love your DB class.

I can't believe you are that ignorant to think someone can't outrecruit bama on one side of the ball over a two year span.

Do you realize saban hasn't signed a 5* DB in his last two recruiting classes. He has signed only one 5* Dlineman in those two classes.

Here are the signing numbers for LSU and bama's last two classes of defensive signees.

bama - four 5* - fourteen 4* - three 3* total 21 signees

LSU - three 5* - eighteen 4* - six 3* total 27 signees

as for individual position groups LSU has advantage on Dline and secondary.

Dline

LSU one 5* - five 4* - five 3*
bama one 5* - six 4* - one 3*

DB

LSU two 5* - seven 4* - one 3*
bama ZERO 5* - five 4* - two 3*

bama has better numbers at LB

LSU zero 5* SIX 4* - zero 3*
bama three 5* - three 4* - zero 3*

Don't worry though. By the time the '19 season rolls around tide nation will be proclaiming ALL these signees were 5*.
