There are literally dozens of car dealerships between Tuscaloosa and Bimingham alone that specialize in "no credit, no problem" and "buy here, pay here" loans. And most of those cars retail used for less than $20K. That's a payment of about $300.

High school kids with little to no income coming in. Lenders were a lot more selective when I was in high school I guess.
