It's amazing to me that 95% of Texas didn't produce one 5-star. And they say high school football is king over there.

Honestly, I think Florida produces the most talent. IMG Academy or not. They just have some athletes over there.

It makes one wonder though. Nebraska was as consistent as a program could be from 1960-2000. Most of their roster from within a 500 mile radius, falling mostly in the region on your map. Did the talent dry up? Did they suffer that bad from scholarship reductions? The loss of the county scholarship program for walkons in that state?
