Louisiana is not special. It's no different than any state in the deep south with similar demographics. Those states just have more than one power 5 university.

Alabama has more kids sign D1 scholarships and has more players in the NFL. Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina and Louisiana have all held the distinction of most NFL players per capita within the last decade.

The state Alabama just has 2 Big 6 schools that win National Championships. The state of South Carolina has an ACC power and an SEC team, while the state of Mississippi has 2 SEC teams despite its small population.

Your hate for anything Louisiana or LSU makes your opinion invalid. Louisiana is the 5th best state when it comes to highschool talent.

Texas
California
Florida
Georgia
Louisiana

Idk what you consider "special" but being top 5 seems pretty good to me.
