I actually agree here. Arkansas basketball is easier to recruit than Arkansas football, butnit still isn't as good as Ohio. We don't really have the issues they have where Louisville and UK can easily poach whomever they want (well, UK can now...but business decisions aside...), but there is definitely more good talent there.

We need to do a better job of getting into Memphis, but AAU there is just as dirty as it gets and I think a lot of not completely broken coaches stay out of there for the most part. Little Rock produces solid talent but if the academics in the town ever get better it will turn into a legit hotbed. Right now a LOT of the best athletes are busy trying to spell "cat" and making "business connections".

If we ever become legitimately good again, we will be able to better recruit KC (closer than Memphis) plus St Louis and Dallas (not much further than Memphis). A big damned IF though, I think I preferred our teams that beat top 25 teams at home while losing to mid 100s on the road than what we have now.
