I truly feel like if Mizzou ever makes a National Championship game, they will lose the way Alabama lost last night. We will lead most of the game, relinquish the lead, then score with 2 minutes to go to make everyone of us feel as if we may get it done, only to be heartbroken in the final seconds. Anybody else feel this way?

not trying to be negative, but if mizzou ever makes it to the title game, I hope it was as close at that game. Mizzou hasn't done great in big games (excluding bowls)

If Mizzou ever makes it to the NCG, that will mean they had one hell of a season and are recruiting well.

I'd enjoy the frick out of that ride win or lose.

I don't think it will ever happen, but watching a program like Clemson achieve what they have achieved gives me hope.

That was a great game. Only the texass/USCw Rose Bowl game was better.

College football has to get that "WR pick play" sorted out and called consistently correct. (Too much to ask, I know.) I just want a level playing field.

Best thing I can think of that gives me hope is this.

3 years ago SLU played in a early season bball tournament that had just four teams, Oklahoma, nova, SLU, and USC?. SLU won that tourney with ease, and 2 years later SLU would win just 7 games, and OU and nova would go to the FF.

With that being said, not sure what that has to do with anything. I just want to win.

If either of my two favorite teams, Arkansas and Missouri, make the championship game I will be heart broken if they don't win.

Why?

Because we aren't guaranteed another shot two or so years later. Bama will get back there, possibly next season, but other teams have to hope for the perfect magic bullet of a season.

Missouri and Arkansas fit into the one magic season at this point. If either one of us makes the big dance we have to win. If we don't then it will probably be a generation before we have another shot... at best.
