In fairness, McIlwaine doesn't recruit well at all and Texas is a dumpster fire with a new coach.
However, if there is one thing we don't have to worry about with Kirby it is recruiting. He is recruiting off the charts. And for this to be his first full year? If he can translate this on to the filed we could lock down the state like LSU does Louisiana. I am amazed at the job Kirby is doing on the recruiting trail.

And here's the thing, even if kirby only turns out to be just an "above average" coach we're still going to rack up wins just on talent alone.
