Well and good, but what if Hurts doesn't improve his passing efficiency? I think he will. I certainly hope he will. It isn't out of the realm of possibility, though, that this is as good as it gets.

Clemson's D didn't have to defend the entire field, in spite of our very good receivers.

We shall see, but the guy played great football for a true freshman. I'm not sure you can ask much more of a true freshman qb. He even scored the go-ahead td that could have sealed the game. He will absolutely improve as a passer in the offseason.

ETA: Losing Scarbrough was huge too.
