If we end up with a Top 5 class all criticisms of Mac's recruiting go out the window. That's what you mean by closing strong right? At the very least Top 10? Because otherwise it's not closing strong.
In fairness to Mac, we shouldn't expect a guy to be able to repeat his "bump class" high repeatedly I mean #12 is pretty strong can't expect a guy to get inside the top 15 multiple times without a national title.

Huh? Zook and WM both had classes in the top 10 and they never won a NC. WM finished in the top 10 with an average * rating of 89 even after going 4-8 and being on the hot seat. That's higher than any Mac signed class. Mac has won on the same level as WM and Zook but hasn't even pulled a top ten class. It's going to take a bunch of commits just to finish in the top 15.
